- a poor man:
- "And Saulª answeredª° and said,ª° [Am] not¹ I¹ a Benjamite,ª of the smallestª¹ of the tribesª of Israel?ª and my familyª the leastª of all¹¹ the familiesª of the tribeª of Benjamin?ª wherefore¹ then speakestª° thou soª¹ to¹ me?" {1Sm 9:21} + "The poorª° is hatedª° even¹ of his own neighbour:ª but the richª [hath] manyª friends.ª°" {Prv 14:20} + "Manyª will intreatª° the favourª of the prince:ª and every man¹ [is] a friendª to him² that giveth gifts.ª¹ ...
