{1 Samuel 2:34} And this x2088 [shall be] a sign 226 unto thee, that x834 shall come 935 z8799 upon x413 thy two 8147 sons, 1121 on x413 Hophni 2652 and Phinehas; 6372 in one 259 day 3117 they shall die 4191 z8799 both 8147 of them.

a sign:
"In that¹ dayª I will performª ° against¹ Eliª ¹ all¹ [things] which¹ I have spokenª ° concerningª his house:ª when I begin,ª ° I will also make an end.ª °" {1Sm 3:12} + "And he gaveª ° a signª the same¹ day,ª saying,ª ° This¹ [is] the signª which¹ the LORDª hath spoken;ª ° Behold,¹ the altarª shall be rent,ª ° and the ashesª that¹ [are] upon¹ it shall be poured out.ª °" {1Kg 13:3} + "Ariseª ° thou¹ therefore, get² °¹ thee to thine own house:ª [and] when thy feetª enterª ° into the city,ª the childª shall die.ª °" {1Kg 14:12}

in one day:
"And the arkª of Godª was taken;ª ° and the twoª sonsª of Eli,ª Hophniª and Phinehas,ª were slain.ª °" {1Sm 4:11} + "And the messengerª ° answeredª ° and said,ª ° Israelª is fledª ° beforeª the Philistines,ª and there hath been¹ also¹ a greatª slaughterª among the people,ª and thy twoª sonsª also,¹ Hophniª and Phinehas,ª are dead,ª ° and the arkª of Godª is taken.ª °" {1Sm 4:17}
