{Judges 8:27} And Gideon 1439 made 6213 z8799 an ephod 646 thereof, and put 3322 z8686 it in his city, 5892 [even] in Ophrah: 6084 and all x3605 Israel 3478 went thither a whoring 2181 z8799 x8033 after 310 it: which thing became x1961 a snare 4170 unto Gideon, 1439 and to his house. 1004

an ephod:

a snare:
"And it came to pass,¹ as soon as¹ Gideonª was dead,ª ° that the childrenª of Israelª turned again,ª ° and went a whoringª ° afterª Baalim,ª and madeª ° Baalberithª their god.ª" {Jdg 8:33} + "And thou shalt consumeª °¹ all¹ the peopleª which¹ the LORDª thy Godª shall deliverª ° thee; thine eyeª shall have no pityª °¹ upon¹ them: neither¹ shalt thou serveª °¹ their gods;ª for¹ that¹ [will be] a snareª unto thee." {Deu 7:16}
