the fords:
"And the Gileaditesª tookª °¹ the passagesª of Jordanª before the Ephraimites:ª and it was¹ [so], that when¹ those Ephraimitesª which were escapedª said,ª ° Let me go over;ª ° that the men² ¹ of Gileadª saidª ° unto him, [Art] thou¹ an Ephraimite?ª If he said,ª ° Nay;¹" {Jdg 12:5} + "And the men² ¹ pursuedª ° afterª them the wayª to Jordanª unto¹ the fords:ª and as soon as¹ ¹ they which pursuedª ° afterª them were gone out,ª ° they shutª ° the gate.ª" {Jsh 2:7}
