Cross Reference JOSHUA 14:3 FOR MOSES HAD GIVEN THE INHERITANCE OF TWO TRIBES AND AN HALF TRIBE ON THE OTHER SIDE JORDAN BUT UNTO THE LEVITES HE GAVE NONE INHERITANCE AMONG THEM

{Joshua 14:3} For x3588 Moses 4872 had given 5414 z8804 the inheritance 5159 of two 8147 tribes 4294 and an half 2677 tribe 4294 on the other side 5676 x4480 Jordan: 3383 but unto the Levites 3881 he gave 5414 z8804 none x3808 inheritance 5159 among 8432 them.

Moses:
"With¹ whom the Reubenitesª and the Gaditesª have receivedª ° their inheritance,ª which¹ Mosesª gaveª ° them, beyondª Jordanª eastward,ª [even] as¹ Mosesª the servantª of the LORDª gaveª ° them;" {Jsh 13:8} + "And Mosesª saidª ° unto¹ them, If¹ the childrenª of Gadª and the childrenª of Reubenª will pass with you overª °¹ ¹ Jordan,ª every man¹ armedª ° to battle,ª beforeª the LORD,ª and the landª shall be subduedª ° beforeª you; then ye shall giveª ° them¹ the landª of Gileadª for a possession:ª ... And Nobahª wentª ° and tookª °¹ Kenath,ª and the villagesª thereof, and calledª ° it Nobah,ª after his own name.ª" {Num 32:29-42} + "And this¹ land,ª [which] we possessedª ° at that¹ time,ª from Aroer,ª ¹ which¹ [is] by¹ the riverª Arnon,ª and halfª mountª Gilead,ª and the citiesª thereof, gaveª ° I unto the Reubenitesª and to the Gadites.ª ... but unto:
"Only¹ unto the tribeª of Leviª he gaveª ° none¹ inheritance;ª the sacrifices² ° of the LORD² God² of Israel² made by fireª ¹ ¹ ¹ [are] their inheritance,ª as¹ he saidª ° unto them." {Jsh 13:14} + "These¹ [are the countries] which¹ Mosesª did distribute for inheritanceª ° in the plainsª of Moab,ª on the other sideª ¹ Jordan,ª by Jericho,ª eastward.ª ... But unto the tribeª of Leviª Mosesª gaveª ° not¹ [any] inheritance:ª the LORDª Godª of Israelª [was] their inheritance,ª as¹ he saidª ° unto them." {Jsh 13:32-33}
