- Moses gave:
- "And the childrenª of Reuben,ª and the childrenª of Gad,ª and halfª the tribeª of Manasseh,ª passed overª° armedª beforeª the childrenª of Israel,ª as¹ Mosesª spakeª° unto¹ them:" {Jsh 4:12} + "And now¹ the LORDª your Godª hath given restª° unto your brethren,ª as¹ he promisedª° them: therefore now¹ returnª° ye, and get²°¹ you unto your tents,ª [and] unto¹ the landª of your possession,ª which¹ Mosesª the servantª of the LORDª gaveª° you on the other sideª Jordan.ª" {Jsh 22:4} + "And Mosesª gaveª° unto them, [even] to the childrenª of Gad,ª and to the childrenª of Reuben,ª and unto halfª the tribeª of Manassehª the sonª of Joseph,ª¹ the kingdomª of Sihonª kingª of the Amorites,ª and the kingdomª of Ogª kingª of Bashan,ª the land,ª with the citiesª thereof in the coasts,ª [even] the citiesª of the countryª round about.ª ...
