Hormah:
"Then the Amalekitesª came down,ª ° and the Canaanitesª which dweltª ° in that¹ hill,ª and smoteª ° them, and discomfitedª ° them, [even] unto¹ Hormah.ª" {Num 14:45} + "And the LORDª hearkenedª ° to the voiceª of Israel,ª and delivered upª °¹ the Canaanites;ª and they utterly destroyedª ° them and their cities:ª and he calledª ° the nameª of the placeª Hormah.ª" {Num 21:3}

Arad:
Eusebius places this city in the neighbourhood of Kadesh, four miles from Malathis, and twenty from Hebron. "And [when] kingª Aradª the Canaanite,ª which dweltª ° in the south,ª heard² ° tell¹ that¹ Israelª cameª ° by the wayª of the spies;ª then he foughtª ° against Israel,ª and tookª ° [some] of¹ them prisoners.ª" {Num 21:1}
