- offer a sacrifice:
- "And thou shalt offerª° thy burnt offerings,ª the fleshª and the blood,ª upon¹ the altarª of the LORDª thy God:ª and the bloodª of thy sacrificesª shall be poured outª° upon¹ the altarª of the LORDª thy God,ª and thou shalt eatª° the flesh.ª" {Deu 12:27} + "His own handsª shall bringª°¹ the offerings²° of the LORD² made by fire,ª¹¹ the fatª with¹ the breast,ª it shall he bring,ª°¹ that the breastª may be wavedª°¹ [for] a wave offeringª beforeª the LORD.ª ... For¹¹ the waveª breastª and the heaveª shoulderª have I takenª° of¹¹ the childrenª of Israelª from off the sacrificesª¹ of their peace offerings,ª and have givenª° them unto Aaronª the priestª and unto his sonsª by a statuteª for everª from among¹¹ the childrenª of Israel.ª" {Lev 7:30-34}
