"And he brought forthª °¹ the king'sª son,ª and putª °¹ the crownª upon¹ him, and [gave him] the testimony;ª and they made him king,ª °¹ and anointedª ° him; and they clappedª ° their hands,ª and said,ª ° God saveª ° the king.ª" {2Kg 11:12}

Mishneh hattorah hazzoth, "a duplicate of this law." translated by the Septuagint, το δευτερονομιον τουτο, this Deuteronomy. From this version, both the Vulgate and all the modern versions have taken the name of this book; and from it the original word, the Jews call it Mishneh.
