thou shalt:
This verse is the practical improvement of the conclusion of the foregoing chapter; while the next verse begins another view of the subject. "And thou shalt loveª °¹ the LORDª thy Godª with all¹ thine heart,ª and with all¹ thy soul,ª and with all¹ thy might.ª" {Deu 6:5} + "And now,¹ Israel,ª what¹ doth the LORDª thy Godª requireª ° of¹ ¹ thee, but¹ ¹ to fearª °¹ the LORDª thy God,ª to walk² °¹ in all¹ his ways,ª and to loveª ° him, and to serveª °¹ the LORDª thy Godª with all¹ thy heartª and with all¹ thy soul,ª" {Deu 10:12} + "In that¹ I¹ commandª ° thee this dayª to loveª °¹ the LORDª thy God,ª to walk² °¹ in his ways,ª and to keepª ° his commandmentsª and his statutesª and his judgments,ª that thou mayest liveª ° and multiply:ª ° and the LORDª thy Godª shall blessª ° thee in the landª whither¹ ¹ thou¹ goestª ° to possessª ° it. ...
