confess:

and he shall:
Not only confession, but restitution, in every possible case, is necessary in order to obtain forgiveness.

with the principal:
"If¹ a soulª commitª ° a trespass,ª and sinª ° through ignorance,ª in¹ the holy thingsª of the LORD;ª then he shall bringª °¹ for his trespassª unto the LORDª a ramª without blemishª out of¹ the flocks,ª with thy estimationª by shekelsª of silver,ª after the shekelª of the sanctuary,ª for a trespass offering:ª" {Lev 5:15} + "Then it shall be,¹ because¹ he hath sinned,ª ° and is guilty,ª ° that he shall restoreª °¹ thatª which¹ he took violently away,ª ° or¹ ¹ the thingª which¹ he hath deceitfully gotten,ª ° or¹ ¹ that¹ which¹ was delivered² ² him to keep,ª °¹ or¹ ¹ the lost thingª which¹ he found,ª ° ...
