{Leviticus 26:46} These x428 [are] the statutes 2706 and judgments 4941 and laws, 8451 which x834 the LORD 3068 made 5414 z8804 between x996 him and the children 1121 of Israel 3478 in mount 2022 Sinai 5514 by the hand 3027 of Moses. 4872

As this verse appears to be the proper concluding verse of the whole book, Dr. A. Clarke thinks that the "And the LORDª spakeª ° unto¹ Moses,ª saying,ª °" {Lev 27:1} originally followed "And the LORDª spakeª ° unto¹ Mosesª in mountª Sinai,ª saying,ª °" {Lev 25:1}. Others suppose that the 27th chapter was added after the book was finished; and, therefore, there is apparently a double conclusion, one at the end of this, and another at the end of the 27th chapter. All the ancient versions agree in concluding both chapters in nearly the same way.

in mount Sinai:
"And the LORDª spakeª ° unto¹ Mosesª in mountª Sinai,ª saying,ª °" {Lev 25:1}

by the hand:
"So Aaronª and his sonsª didª °¹ all¹ thingsª which¹ the LORDª commandedª ° by the handª of Moses.ª" {Lev 8:36} + "These¹ [were] they that were numberedª ° of the familiesª of the Kohathites,ª all¹ that might do serviceª ° in the tabernacleª of the congregation,ª which¹ Mosesª and Aaronª did numberª ° according to¹ the commandmentª of the LORDª by the handª of Moses.ª" {Num 4:37} + "Thou leddestª ° thy peopleª like a flockª by the handª of Mosesª and Aaron.ª" {Psa 77:20}
