And they shall knowª° that¹ I¹ [am] the LORDª their God,ª that¹ brought them forthª°¹ out of the landª¹ of Egypt,ª that I may dwellª° amongª them: I¹ [am] the LORDª their God.ª" {Exd 29:1-46}; and consequently the complete consecration and preparation of Aaron and his sons to fill the awfully important office of priests and mediators between God and the children of Israel, to offer sacrifices, and make atonement for the sins of the people. "And Mosesª did look²° upon¹¹ all²¹ the work,ª and, behold,¹ they had doneª° it as¹ the LORDª had commanded,ª° even so¹ had they doneª° it: and Mosesª blessedª° them." {Exd 39:43} + "Thus didª° Moses:ª according to all¹ that¹ the LORDª commandedª° him, so¹ didª° he." {Exd 40:16} + "Ye shall not¹ addª° unto¹ the wordª which¹ I¹ commandª° you, neither¹ shall ye diminishª° [ought] from¹ it, that ye may keepª°¹ the commandmentsª of the LORDª your Godª which¹ I¹ commandª° you." {Deu 4:2} + "¹ What thing² soever¹¹¹ I¹ commandª° you, observeª° to doª° it: thou shalt not¹ addª° thereto,¹ nor¹ diminishª° from¹ it." {Deu 12:32} + "And Samuelª said,ª° Hath the LORDª [as great] delightª in burnt offeringsª and sacrifices,ª as in obeyingª° the voiceª of the LORD?ª Behold,¹ to obeyª° [is] betterª than sacrifice,ª¹ [and] to hearkenª° than the fatª¹ of rams.ª" {1Sm 15:22}
