- overlay the boards with gold:
- "And thou shalt overlayª° it with pureª gold,ª withinª¹ and withoutª¹ shalt thou overlayª° it, and shalt makeª° upon¹ it a crownª of goldª round about.ª ... And thou shalt castª° fourª ringsª of goldª for it, and putª° [them] in¹ the fourª cornersª thereof; and twoª ringsª [shall be] in¹ the oneª sideª of it, and twoª ringsª in¹ the otherª side¹ of it." {Exd 25:11-12}
