"And the LORDª saidª ° unto¹ Moses,ª Go down,ª ° chargeª ° the people,ª lest¹ they break throughª ° unto¹ the LORDª to gaze,ª ° and manyª of¹ them perish.ª °" {Exd 19:21} + "And Mosesª saidª ° unto¹ the LORD,ª The peopleª cannotª °¹ come upª ° to¹ mountª Sinai:ª for¹ thou¹ chargedstª ° us, saying,ª ° Set boundsª °¹ about the mount,ª and sanctifyª ° it." {Exd 19:23} + "Yet¹ there shall be¹ a spaceª between¹ you and it, about two thousandª cubitsª by measure:ª come not nearª °¹ unto¹ it, that¹ ¹ ye may knowª °¹ the wayª by which¹ ye must go:² °¹ for¹ ye have not¹ passedª ° [this] wayª heretofore.ª ª ¹" {Jsh 3:4}
