{Genesis 45:10} And thou shalt dwell 3427 z8804 in the land 776 of Goshen, 1657 and thou shalt be x1961 near 7138 unto x413 me, thou, x859 and thy children, 1121 and thy children's 1121 children, 1121 and thy flocks, 6629 and thy herds, 1241 and all x3605 that x834 thou hast:

in the land:
"And Josephª made readyª ° his chariot,ª and went upª ° to meetª ° Israelª his father,ª to Goshen,ª and presented² ° himself¹ unto¹ him; and he fellª ° on¹ his neck,ª and weptª ° on¹ his neckª a good while.ª" {Gen 46:29} + "That ye shall say,ª ° Thy servants'ª trade² ¹ hath been¹ about cattleª from our youthª ¹ even until¹ now,¹ both¹ we,¹ [and] also¹ our fathers:ª that¹ ye may dwellª ° in the landª of Goshen;ª for¹ every¹ shepherdª ª ° [is] an abominationª unto the Egyptians.ª" {Gen 46:34} + "Then Josephª cameª ° and toldª ° Pharaoh,ª and said,ª ° My fatherª and my brethren,ª and their flocks,ª and their herds,ª and all¹ that¹ they have, are come¹ out² ° of the landª ¹ of Canaan;ª and, behold,¹ they [are] in the landª of Goshen.ª ... The landª of Egyptª [is] before¹ thee;² in the bestª of the landª make² °¹ thy fatherª and brethrenª to dwell;ª ° in the landª of Goshenª let them dwell:ª ° and if¹ thou knowestª °² [any] men² ¹ of activityª among them, then make¹ them² ° rulersª over my¹ ¹ cattle.ª" {Gen 47:1-6} + "And I will severª ° in that¹ dayª ¹ the landª of Goshen,ª in¹ which¹ my peopleª dwell,ª ° that noª swarmsª [of flies] shall beª ° there;¹ to the endª thou mayest knowª ° that¹ I¹ [am] the LORDª in the midstª of the earth.ª" {Exd 8:22} + "Only¹ in the landª of Goshen,ª where¹ ¹ the childrenª of Israelª [were], was¹ there no¹ hail.ª" {Exd 9:26}

Goshen:
Goshen was the most eastern district of Lower Egypt, and the frontier of that country and Arabia, not far from the Arabian gulf, and lying next to Canaan; for Jacob went directly thither when he came into Egypt, from which it was about eighty miles distant, though Hebron was distant from the Egyptian capital about three hundred miles.
