{Genesis 37:21} And Reuben 7205 heard 8085 z8799 [it], and he delivered 5337 z8686 him out of their hands; 3027 x4480 and said, 559 z8799 Let us not x3808 kill 5221 z8686 y5315 him.

Reuben heard:
"And it came to pass,¹ when Israelª dweltª ° in that¹ land,ª that Reubenª went² °¹ and lay² ° with¹ ¹ Bilhahª his father'sª concubine:ª and Israelª heardª ° [it]. Now the sonsª of Jacobª were¹ twelve:ª ª" {Gen 35:22} + "And Reubenª answeredª ° them, saying,ª ° Spake¹ I² ° not¹ unto¹ you, saying,ª ° Do not¹ sinª ° against the child;ª and ye would not¹ hear?ª ° therefore, behold,¹ also¹ his bloodª is required.ª °" {Gen 42:22}

not kill him:
Heb. nephesh, "And that¹ dayª Joshuaª tookª ° Makkedah,ª and smoteª ° it with the edgeª of the sword,ª and the kingª thereof he utterly destroyed,ª ° them, and all¹ the soulsª that¹ [were] therein; he letª ° none¹ remain:ª and he didª ° to the kingª of Makkedahª as¹ he didª ° unto the kingª of Jericho.ª" {Jsh 10:28} + "And surelyª ¹ your bloodª of your livesª will I require;ª ° at the handª ¹ of every¹ beastª will I require¹ it,² ° and at the handª ¹ of man;ª at the handª ¹ of every man'sª brotherª will I requireª °¹ the lifeª of man.ª" {Gen 9:5} + "Andª fearª °² notª ¹ them which² killª ° the¹ body,ª butª are² ° notª ableª ° to killª ° the¹ soul:ª butª ratherª fearª ° him which² is ableª ° to destroyª ° bothª soulª andª bodyª inª hell.ª" {Mtt 10:28}
